Saverio Tersigni aka Silvery Tersini was naturalized at the age of 16 in Denver Colorado in 1912. He was a carpenter and miner, had a dark brown complexion, was 5' 11" and weighed `175 lbs. He arrived in the US on the ship Canady (departing Naples Italy) on December 28 1912. He renounced his allegiance to King Victor Emanuele III of Italy upon his naturalization. According to his WW1 draft registration card, Silvery was born in Sora Italy (as was his father), he was 21 yrs old, and living with his sister, Bennett Travana, in Denver CO. He was working at the stockyards. He was tall, had dark hair and gray eyes. According to his WW2 draft registration card, Silvery was living in Wayne Michigan. He was born in Sora Italy and was working for Ford Motor Company (he was 46 years old). In the 1940 federal census, "Sylvery" was living in Lincoln Park, Wayne, Michigan. He was married, owned his own business as a building contractor, owned his home, and had completed 3rd grade. He was living with his wife Olga, children Josephine, age 9, Luigi, age 7, Janet, age 2. Also in the household were 2 boarders - Carman and Eddie Petricca. In San Jose CA, he became a cement contractor Silvery and Olga's son Louie (Luigi), 1932 - 2019, was born in Detroit Michigan and a resident of Santa Clara Valley since the family moved there in 1945, was also a builder and real estate developer. He was a 1954 graduate (accounting) of San Jose State University.
