Brother Junius Wharton was a member of the Odd Fellow fraternity. He was a charter member and the first Noble Grand (president) of Phoenix Lodge #2 in Phoenix, Arizona. Brother Junius Wharton was also the first Grand Marshal of the Arizona Grand Lodge of Odd Fellows.
