Leonard Stogdill my biological grandfather and grandma had a son Hadley Leon Stogdill who was my father. Grandma was a sweet grandma. Was always making me clothes and all of her own beautiful dresses. She was a wonderful seamstress! She kept a beautiful home and loved decorating. Always up with fashions. Grandma was also a wonderful cook and baked awesome pies and always my fav cherry and gooseberry! She was a little thing but full of spunk. You didn't cross her or you'd hear about it. She had a son Hadley Leon Stogdill (my biological father) and a daughter Lorene Alvena. Grandma loved making baby quilts for all the friends and neighbors that were due to have a baby. Grandma also played the harp ( harmonica). And played with Grandpa Raymond Wilfawn while he played the fiddle. They would get together with friends and family and have a jam session. I have a cd I had copied from a tape where my grandma left me a message at the end of them singing songs. A treasure for sure.
