He always loved to talk about his time in the military. He was very proud of being a sea bee! He also loved to stir the pot by discussig politics and religion. He always told me to do this, but I said you shouldn't and his response have some fun stirring them up. He was also a very strong Christian. He believed strongly I. The power of prayer. Emma came to the United states through Ellis island with her mother, aunt and two siblings. The lived in McKeesport rocks until she was around 7 and then they moved to Chicago ill. She often spoke of working in the hat factory when she was twelve years old. Prior to child labor laws being put into effect. She married George Norak in her twenties and had two children. He was a soldier in World War One. He too came from Rissia as well when he was seventeen years old. He died in 1964, but she lived u til 1995. She had been involved in the American legion as a president. She traveled in her older years and loved to spend time with her family. Sharing a birthday with her for 29 years were some of my greatest memories of her. She once told me I was the one grand,child most like her. I guess it was having a birthday only a few days apart.
