Home of Cornellis Matthyssen Van Keuren, 84 St James St, Kingston, New York. Plaque designates it as a historical place in the Battle of Kingston, 16 Oct, 1777. Cornellis's grandson, also a Cornellis, settled in Ohio as Cornelius VanCuren

Photo of Cornelius Van Keuren of Esopus, New York, husband of Mary White Smith. Photo is one of dozens found in an album that originally belonged to Cornelius, and was recovered from an abandoned home in South Carolina in the 1980s. The album dates to @1850 and all the photos date 1850-1900

Home of Tjerck Matthyssen Van Keuren, Kingston, purchased 1711. Named for grandfather Tjerck Claussen DeWitt, whose home in Kingston on DeWitt Lane(off Hurley Road), was built in 1669. Both homes are still in use today
Matthys Matthyssen Van Keuren
The home of Matthys Mattyssen Van Keuren, corner Crown and Green in Kingston, purchased by Matthys on Dec 27, 1703. Today it is used as the Headquarters of the Wiltwyck Chapter of the DAR. Matthys' great grandson, Hendricus Van Keuren, moved to Indiana and changed the last name to Van Curen.
