Lewis Jack Ceresetto was the oldest son of Giacomo "Jack" Ceresetto and Maria Anna Mangini. He was born in Sonoma County, California but the family moved to Santa Cruz, California while he was in his early teens. On July 15th, 1932, the Santa Cruz Sentinel reported that Lewis was "confined to his home by a bad case of sunburn." He was married twice. Lewis was also a member of the Star of the Sea Catholic Church and U.A.D. Druids, Grove #142. He is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Santa Cruz.
Maria Anna (Mangini) Ceresetto of Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, California was born on January 6, 1886 at Tecosa in Torriglia, Metropolitan City of Genoa County, Liguria Italy. She was married to Giacomo Jack Ceresetto on May 25, 1905 in Torriglia, Metropolitan City of Genoa County, and had a child Lewis Jack Ceresetto. Maria Ceresetto died at age 95 years old on September 29, 1981 in Santa Cruz County, California United States, and was buried at IOOF Cemetery Ocean Ave, in Santa Cruz.
Giacomo "Jack" Vincenzo Ceresetto was born in Italy, the oldest son of Angelo GianBattista Cereseto (1841-1911) and Rose Nicoletta Dellepiane (b. 1855). He lived in Oakland with his uncle and cousins when he first arrived in the US in the 1890's. He then moved to Sonoma County where he grew grapes and vegetables. In 1905 Giacomo returned to Italy to marry Maria Anna Mangini in Torriglia (possibly in Pentema.) They returned together to California and started a family.

Elizabeth probably arrived in the US as a small child with her mother Christina Marie Buch. Her father, Frank, died when she was 17. Elizabeth remained at home with her mother and siblings until she married Joseph Toohey (1882-1960) in January of 1909. They had one child, a boy, Joseph Anthony Toohey, Jr. in 1910.
