My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!

Marlene (Granger) Gaines was born on August 27, 1933. She was married to Richard Gene Gaines and they later divorced on November 8, 1958 in Alton, Madison County, Illinois United States. Marlene Gaines died at age 73 years old on January 23, 2007 in Colorado Springs, Colorado United States. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Marlene (Granger).
Jeanne C (Merker) Gaines of Imperial Beach, California United States was born on June 12, 1930. She was married to Richard Gene Gaines on June 4, 1970 in Imperial, Imperial County and they later divorced on May 3, 1975 in San Diego, San Diego County. Jeanne Gaines died at age 68 years old on September 15, 1998 at Jacumba Valley.
When Lucille Gaines was born on December 31, 1889, in Illinois, her father, Jacob, was 27, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 27. She was married three times and had one son. She died on April 29, 1962, in her hometown at the age of 72, and was buried in Litchfield, Illinois.
John H Gaines was born on October 1, 1885, in Jacksonville, Illinois, the son of Annie and James. He married Lucille Gaines and they had one son together. He also had one daughter from another relationship. He then married Harriet Flassig and they had two children together. He died in January 1966 in Cook, Illinois, at the age of 80.

Richard Gene Gaines of White Hall, Illinois United States was born on July 17, 1931 in Alton to Leroy Henry Gaines and Ollie Catherine Shafer. Richard Gaines had a brother Don Edward Gaines. He married Jeanne C (Merker) on June 4, 1970 in Imperial, Imperial County, California and they later divorced on May 3, 1975 in San Diego, San Diego County. He would also marry Marlene (Granger) and they later divorced on November 8, 1958 in Alton, Madison County. Richard Gaines died at age 64 years old on October 19, 1995 in White Hall.
