Judith "Judy" Laycock passed away at her home in Roseburg, Oregon on Tuesday October 20, 2009 at the age of 68 years. She was born on July 5, 1941 to Donald and Marguerite (Chapman) Rone here in Roseburg. Judy grew up and attended schools in Roseburg, and later worked as a teacher's assistant. Judy met and married James A. Laycock in 1967. Judy enjoyed visiting her family in Alaska, and her friends at the YMCA. She loved to fish, embroider and her dog "Sassy". Judy will be missed and remembered by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents Don and Marguerite Rone. Judy is survived by her husband Jim Laycock of Roseburg, Oregon, sons, Don Admire, David Admire, Carl Christensen, Russell Christensen and his wife Jennifer, all of Juneau, Alaska, brother, jack Rone of myrtle Creek, Oregon, uncle, Dick Rone, grandchildren, Aiden, Mackenzie, Maccord, numerous nieces, nephews, and life time friends, Clark and Barbara Simpson, Iris and Charlie Williams, and Eldon Zane. A celebration of Judy's life will be held 10:00 AM on Monday October 26, 2009 at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses, in Roseburg, Oregon. Pastor Rick Hahn will be officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow. Judy will be laid to rest with in the grounds of Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
Michael Laycock of Paradise, California United States was born on June 24, 1920 at Stephenson Ave, in Escanaba, MI to Albert Laycock and Julia (Turcott). He had siblings Albert Laycock, Mildred Laycock, Richard R. Laycock, Clifford Laycock, and James Laycock Sr.. Michael Laycock died at age 78 years old on April 13, 1999.

Jean S. (Longhi) Huber passed away at her home on Saturday, September 19, 2020. She was born in Stambaugh City, MI on Oct. 16, 1948 to the late Robert and Mildred Ann (Laycock) Longhi. Jean was a “Yooper Girl” thru and thru. She graduated from Crystal Falls High School in 1966. Jean went to Milwaukee to secretarial and keypunch school and then went to Denver. She worked at JC Penney for a couple of years and then worked for Martin Marietta in the space division. Jean loved dogs and was “dog mom” to seven of her own. She also loved the outdoors and being by the water. She met her husband Ted Huber in Colorado. They were married in 1990 and moved to the Green Bay area in 1991. They were married 30 years. Jean retired from Oneida Casino after 29 years in the shuttle department. Survivors include her husband Ted Huber; step daughter Jennifer Huber; granddaughter Rockie Huber; brothers John (Bonnie) Longhi; Roger Laycock (Pat Nicol); nephews Rob (Sadie) Longhi and Matt (Yoejin) Laycock; niece Nickie Longhi; step sisters Kathy Sundquist and Diane Hollis. Family and friends may call at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, Green Bay, on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 3 until 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service for the immediate family will be held at 5:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Crystal Falls, MI.
