Dora Blankenbeker, IL
Dora Blankenbeker was born on November 30, 1860 in Illinois to Massein McDaniel and John Blankenbeker. Her mother died when she was young and her father remarried. His second wife was Anna Mariah Wade. They moved from Illinois to Kansas. Dora married Chauncey Huffman on November 10, 1892 in Wilson County, Kansas. She died in 1937 and is buried in Chanute, Kansas. She had three children: Myrtle, Etta Mae, and Laura.

John Samuel Blankenbeker
John Samuel Blankenbeker was a civil war veteran who served in the 73rd Regiment Company A Illinois. He moved to Ottawa, Kansas in 1870. In 1878 he moved his family to Buffalo, Wilson County, Kansas where he lived until his death on Jan 16, 1916.
