He and wife Nancy Green(e) Fleenor were married before 1810 and migrated to the wilderness of southern Indiana. Nancy Green, born 20 Jan. 1792 in England and died 30 Nov. 1865) at age 73 y 10 m and 10 d. They were pioneers in the area when it was the Indiana Territory, a part of the original Northwest Territory and were citizens in 1816 when Indiana became a State under the first governor, William Henry Harrison.
