My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!

Manuel Flores Salas of Agat, Agat County, Guam 🇬🇺 USA 🇺🇸 was born in Agana Heights, Agana County, Guam Guam to Emily Van Meter (Sanchez) Quinata and Timothy Paul Acompaniado Quinata. Manuel was baptized in Agana Hts. Manuel Salas was buried at Agat, Guam. He married Caridad (Babauta) Salas in 1914. They had children Maria Guadalupe Babauta (Salas) Van Meter and Maria Rosario Babauta Salas. He would also marry Maria Taijitu (Reyes) Salas, and they had children Beatriz Reyes (Salas) Dydasco, John Reyes Salas, Rita Reyes (Salas) Tedtaotao, and Pedro Reyes Salas. He also married Caridad Babauta, and they had children Maria Guadalupe Babauta Salas Van Meter, Maria Rosario Babauta (Salas), Francisco Babauta Salas, Vicente Babauta Salas, Ignacia Babauta Salas, Engracia Babauta Salas, Jesus Babauta Salas, Soledad Babauta Salas (Quinata) Thyark, and Joaquina Babauta (Salas) Cruz.

Milagro Aguon Quinata of Umatac, Guam USA was born on January 10, 1905 at Umatac Village in Umatac. She married Joaquin Quinata Sanchez, and they had children Francisco Quinata Sanchez, Vicente Quinata Sanchez, Maria Quinata (Sanchez) Aquiningoc, and Jose Quinata Sanchez. Milagro's partner was Joaquin Quinata Sanchez, and they had children Oliva Q. (Sánchez) Topásña and Francisco Quinata Sanchez. Milagro Quinata died at age 64 years old on July 5, 1969 at Old Guam Memorial Hospital in Tamuning, and was buried in July 1905 at Umatac Catholic Cemetery in Umatac.
