Elton graduated from Mattawan High School and joined the Navy. After his tour of duty, he hired on at the Otsego Police Dept where he eventually retired as Chief of Police. He married Romilda LaCoss, March 1st 1969, and they have three beautiful daughters.

Sandra was a wonderful, fun-loving person. She loved her family, especially her children. She had many friends. Gone too soon and we miss her
