My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!

Henry W Dempsey of Spencer, Worcester County, MA was born on February 13, 1926, and died at age 56 years old in July 1982.

I was a very young, around 7
or 8 when I met Mr and Mrs layke who were my neighbor across the street.
I had become very close to them and had gone to there most days and enjoyed the love and care they had given me. I was 10 years old when Frank passed away and heart broken, I wanted so much to be there for Mary as her heart broke. Little did I realize at that time that 2 weeks later my brother would pass away. Mary and I had become so very close. I loved her and all the family so very much, even had a little crush on Lee.
At the age of 13 (1969) my family had picked up in the middle of the night and moved away. I knew Mary would be looking for me that next day and would worry. I had written her a letter so as to let her know where I was. We did continue to write, we both missed each other , life had gotten between us and we lost touch. I have always though of those days with frank and Mary layke, Daughter's wanda johnson and helen steele and the love that they gave and thought me.
I hope on this site I can find pictures of them, I am now 68 years old and would love to see them again.
