About me:
I have always wanted to make connections with anyone who would be able to shine some light on my family genealogy. I became extra passionate after my son was born. My husband's family history is filled with so much amazing lives/stories etc... Unfortunately due to my heritage I have little to no information.
About my family:
My mother's family fled Cuba soon after Fidel Castro took over and left nearly everything there. I have no birth certificate for my mother or anyone else from her side. My grandmother came from a predominant family from what I have been able to piece together. Her father was from Spain and owned a business in Havana. My father side of the family lives in Puerto Rico and I have been am to locate information from that side without much difficulty. My husband is Scotts-Irish/Welch/with some Cherokee and Black Foot. His family has been in the United States as far back as the Revolutionary War.
