Norma Pullum
About me:
I am the Oldest Daughter of E. Leon Pullum and Ella Dugan. I was born in Florence, Arizona in 1955. County of Pinal I lived in Coolidge in an adobe house that my Grandfather built with his bare hands. Life was good there in the Hot Arizona desert. My Father went to prison when I was 5. I missed him but adapted well to life without him. He always loved me, that was all that mattered.He taught me how to protect myself, to be street smart , and to read people . My Mother was young but she was fun and a lot like an older sister. She taught me how to sing. Grandma was the Mom. Grandma taught Sunday school and proper manors. Without her I would have no grace. My Grandfather was a sharp dressed Man.Yet strong and not afraid to get his hands dirty. He kept everything in order., paid the bills, repaired the broken, made sure we always had food on the table and cloths on our backs. He was also a Man of God and carried his bible to church and me. I loved his lap, it was the most comforting place on Earth.

Mothers side: Herman Dugan (Irish) and Josephine Irene Mortensen (Danish) missionaries
Fathers side : John Blackwell Pullum descendant of Kentucky plantation owners and Choctaw Indian tribe and Sybil Delilah Endsley daughter of the Cusick Family.
I am a mixture of many things which gives me the ability to be one with the Universe. My heart is with God . My eye is on the Devil . It is a gift I cherish.
Fathers side : John Blackwell Pullum descendant of Kentucky plantation owners and Choctaw Indian tribe and Sybil Delilah Endsley daughter of the Cusick Family.

Henry Henly Isham was the Son of John Andrew Isham and Nancy Brewer. Henry had 19 Children and three wives. His first wife was Sarah Byram whom he had the first 13 children. When she died he married Ms Delia Brown and had five more children. Mis Delia died at the age of 26 ( I can see why) His third wife was Minnie Bean that he had one more child . Henry died before that child was born. 1909. Curtis Isham was an infant when miss Delia died. He was only 2 -1/2 months old. Curtis was my Sons Grandfather.

My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!

Henry Henley Isham was my Sons Great Great Grandfather. Henry was the father of 19 children by three wives. He first married Sarah Byram They had 13 Children. After her death he married Delia Brown (My Sons Great Grandmother) Delia gave Henry 5 more children. The youngest was Curtis Alton Isham ( My sons Great Grand Father) Delia died at the age of 26, just 2- 1/2 months after Curtis was born.
Henry then Married Mini Bean but died before their child Henry Adell was born.

Henry Henly Isham born March 12, 1851 in Georgia. At the age of 17 he married Sarah J. Byram. She was also 17. They married in Hayward, Tennessee on Oct. 26, 1871 . They had 13 children which include three sets of twins.

This would have been plenty for any other average family. But not Henry.
In 1894 Sarah passed away at the age of 43.
When Henry was 46 he married Delia Brown. She was only 16 but in those days that was not so unusual.
Delia gave Henry five more children.
Luther Walter 1898 ,Ernest Henly 1899, Roy Rosco 1900, , Melvin 1904 & Curtis Alton 1906
But in May 23, 1906 ,at the age of 26, Delia also passed away, her infant Son Curtis was only 2 1/2 months old. Melvin, a toddler of 2 , 4 yr. old Roy, Ernest 5, and Luther 6. What a tragic thing for a family to go through

Curtis Isham of Houston, Harris County, Texas was born on February 6, 1906 to Henry Henly Isham and Delia Brown. Curtis Isham died at age 61 years old in October 1967, and was buried in October 1967 at Salem Cemetery in Fort Worth , TX, Tarrant County.

Found on Ancestry.com There is not much information about Curtis posted anywhere. His Father was Henry Henly Isham and his Mother Delia Brown died when he was just
2 1/2 months old. His Father died when he was 3 years old so Curtis was raised by an older Brother EB Isham (Eldridge Booth Isham).
Curtis Married Lilly Speaks and they had four Children and lived in Texas.
Sometime after 1940 He Married Myrtle Bell and they lived near Phoenix, AZ. They had three Children. Curtis Alton Jr. 1944 , Jeannie Faye, 1948 and Jerry Wayne 1951. Curtis left the marriage and went back to Texas. He died in 1967 . He was my Sons Travis Wayne Isham's Grandfather. Neither of us ever met him.
