Roy Edwin Hick
I have learned that this is Roy Edwin Hick who was my husband's grandfather 1884-1962. The photo was taken in 1905 when he was 21 years of age.

Richard Snell, Thelma Grace (Sack) Snell and children.
After some sleuthing, I have discovered that this photo is of Richard Snell, 1952 graduate of Ashland High School in Ashland, KS and his family. Richard was in the ministry. He and his wife had one more child after this photo was taken.
Richard and his wife are deceased, both are buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington, NE.

She was my great-grandmother. Born in Ohio, circa 1853, to James Robert McCoy and Hannah (West) McCoy. Married John Wesley Shaver.
The only information I have about that side of my family is through geneology research. The only "story" handed down is that she was a Native American descendent, possibly the Choctaw tribe.
I would love to learn more about her. If anyone has photos or information, please share.
