Paul M Sanford of Dover, Morris County, NJ was born on January 12, 1914, and died at age 73 years old on October 9, 1987.

Althea E (Beals) Sanford of Toms River, Ocean County, NJ was born on July 8, 1915. She married Paul M Sanford. She married Edward Paul Schleer and they later divorced. They had a child Judith Ann Godfrey. Althea Sanford died at age 89 years old on April 24, 2005.

Judy was my Nana! She was my number one person that made me feel like me! We were Gemini twins. I learned unconditional love and how doing for others might not always pay off but staying true to yourself means more than thank You’s. I wanted to protect my Nana, I could see pain in her eyes from love. She knew everything. I always asked her how she knew everything. She said she was still learning everyday. She worked two jobs and worked doubles many days. Everyone loved my Nana!!! I miss her every day! I try to be like her and remember things she taught me. It’s been too long since she left this world. Why do the good ones go too soon? She loved to have a good time and loved to dance! She loved Elvis and playing black Jack. She loved the jersey shore and traveling. Mostly she loved her family!
