Great Grandpa Lange holding his Great Granddaughter Elaine Johnson. Elaine's mother died 6 days after giving birth to her baby sister Carol, and her father died 6 months later of a heart attack. Elaine and her sister Carol were brought back to Jefferson, WI and raised by Edward and Bertha Hake.

Pauline (Weber) Lange of Jefferson, Wisconsin United States was born on September 8, 1841. She was in a relationship with August Carl Frederick Lange, and had a child Bertha Wilhelmina (Lange) Hake. Pauline Lange died at age 52 years old on August 6, 1894.
