From NARA Revolutionary War Pension Record #S.38530, & War of 1812:
David "King David" Benge,born August 1757, AlbemarleVa,died 1834 son of THOMAS BENGE, Jr & SUSANNAH LEWIS.Enlisted in Rev War & War of 1812.Married LUCRETIA PERRY. They had 11 children. contact submitter for much more info.
I descend from the "King" David Benge line.
My GTGtGrs were "Bear Creek" Jim Bowling & Martha/Patsy Benge from Bear Creek, Clay Co., Kentucky(this was on my mother's side).
