David Benge
David Benge, born about 1760 in Virginia and died in 1854 in Clay County, Kentucky. A Revolutionary War Soldier (North Carolina Militia) and a soldier in the War of 1812 (Kentucky). This photo was shared with the family by [contact link].

The Bowling Family of Clay and Laurel County, Kentucky, c.1940's. Children of Alex Bowling and Lucinda McFadden.
Front row: Mary (Bowling) McCowan, Ruth (Bowling) Parsley, Nancy (Bowling) Brummett, and Barbara (Bowling) Humfleet. Ruth was my paternal grandmother's mother.
Back row: Isaac, Abraham, Pleasant, Sidney, and Potter Bowling.
The children not in the picture were Jesse, George, Bert, and Frank.
