Bowling Family
The Bowling Family of Clay and Laurel County, Kentucky, c.1940's. Children of Alex Bowling and Lucinda McFadden.
Front row: Mary (Bowling) McCowan, Ruth (Bowling) Parsley, Nancy (Bowling) Brummett, and Barbara (Bowling) Humfleet. Ruth was my paternal grandmother's mother.
Back row: Isaac, Abraham, Pleasant, Sidney, and Potter Bowling.
The children not in the picture were Jesse, George, Bert, and Frank.
The people in this photo are the grandchildren of Mary "Polly" Garland & Isham Bowling and Mary Williams & Westerfield McFadden.
