Ellen Agnes Gilmore nee Cummins
Ellen Agnes Gilmore (nee Cummins), born August 1865, Ireland, and arrived per ship to Boston 1885. Married John.F. Gilmore, ropemaker, 31 May 1891, MA. Ellen's parents given as James & Mary Cummins, thought to reside near Newmarket-on-Fergus/Limerick districts of Ireland. She had an elder sister (aunt?) Mrs. Bridget Brady, Back Flats, Parish of Greenough, Western Australia to whom she sent these family photos. Members of Ellen's Cummins family served in Massachusetts Regiments in the Civil War and later removed to Baltimore, Maryland. In 1942 Ellen (Helen) and daughters lived with her son John.F. Gilmore Jnr. at 56 High St., Suffolk, Charlestown
