Fred H. Dean, Florida, 1958

Fred H. Dean, Seabreeze High School, Daytona Beach, Florida in 1958: Just as the finest orchestra could not play a concert without the direction of the maestro, so Seabreeze needed Mr. Fred H. Dean, head of the instrumental music department. Mr. Dean immediately found a lasting place in the hearts of both the faculty and student body. All those who came in contact with him were awed by his constant good humor and, wonderful plans for the future of the "marching hundred", and great qualities of understanding and patience. Mr. Dean had directed the most marvelous football shows ever seen in the vicinity and compiled a superior record of achievement in the music department.
