A photo of Dr. Fritz Holme, a Danish scholar and adventurer. Not all adventurers were about the exploration - he set out to "obtain" (ie steal) the Nestorian Stele in China. The local government got wind of his plans and moved the stele to a museum. So he had a copy made and tried to sell it in the U.S., without success.
