Jewel Vivian Medford
Jewel Vivian Medford (Vallance) (Goode) in Kern Co., California. The 1946 Chevrolet belonged to her brother Nathaniel who was later killed in this car in an accident. Jewel was the daughter of the late Holland Lee Medford and Ila Green Tally Medford of Texas. She married Alvin Russell Vallance of Plaska, Texas in 1933 and was the mother of William D."Bill" Vallance and Henry L."Harry" Vallance. She later married Andrew J. Goode and resided in Bakersfield, Ca. She died while living with her son Bill in Forest Grove, Oregon. Jewel was the Great Granddaughter of Zachariah Hardin Medford and Martha Wilkes.
