This is one of my Mom's old photos. The two men in the picture are Deaton or Little and my Mom's Uncle John Sizemore (left) .

What was your mom's full maiden & married name? It helps to know those details. I have Sizemores in my records from all around that area of KY. I'd love to know which John Sizemore this is - did you learn any other details about him? I may have other info if you can tell me about your mom's family or other details surrounding her. My Mom's name was Mae Cornette Riffe. Her mother was Nancy Sizemore Cornette. Her father was Harvey Sizemore and mother was Polly Watts (Flinchum, Deaton,)? Sizemore. My Grandmothers siblings were - Creamie Sizemore Deaton, Evaline Sizemore Deaton DeCosta, 1/2 siblings were John, Oscar, Elmer (Bess), Mattie Sizemore ?. Harvey's father was Dillon Sizemore, mother Mary Polly Little. They were all, including my Mom born in and around Breathitt county KY.

I am a descendant of Granville “Gran Tony” Deaton and Elizabeth “Betsy” Moore in KY. I believe it is around Breathitt County Kentucky, maybe around Fed Fork somewhere. He is the son of William “Tony” Deaton and Rachael Raleigh. William Deaton was begat by John “Buck” Deaton Jr. and Malinda Watts in Perry Co. KY. We have found some old photos and are in the process of identifying them ourselves. The Deaton man does not look familiar to others that we have, but the name Sizemore I have heard before and I need to find the connection.

Hi I'm Evelyn Morrison(Chambers). I just found out that my Grandmother was married to a John Sizemore when she died Sept.1976. Her Maiden name was Elora Vires,then she married my Grandfather Alex Chambers,all from Kentucky around Breathitt co. She was born in Briarcreek,Ky around 1909. Any Information would be appreicated.
