Josiah Wesley Showalter and his wife, Lois Porch. Josiah Wesley is the son of Josiah Thomas Showalter and Sarah Catherine Vaden Showalter. Josiah (the son) was born 5-7-1869, and died 4-29-1930. He grew up in Pulaski Co. VA (Hiwassee). He was a farmer and a teacher, and attended Milligan College (in TN). Lois, his wife, was born 7-12-1869 in Kirkwood, MO and died 9-21-1958 in Pender Co., NC.
