Mrs Patrick Campbell
Mrs Patrick Campbell was the stage name of Beatrice Stella Tanner, a British stage actress in the late 1800's and early 1900's. The name Mrs Patrick Campbell came from her first marriage (they had 2 children) - her husband died in 1900 in the Boer War.
Before her second marriage (14 years later) she had a "passionate" affair with George Bernard Shaw - through letters. They never consummated their relationship.
