New Clothes

This photo was taken somewhere around the Lawton, Oklahoma area. They were share cropper's, cotton picker's and farmers. They spent their month's earnings for these new clothes and hired a photogrpher to come out to the farm and take this photo.

im not aware of any of my meltons being in okla at that time, but i am descended from allen melton sylvan,joe, montreville,ralph, charley melvin melton was my granddad, his mother was masry alice hendrix, well anyway ive got a couple of pdf files and old photos if u r intrested contact me at:[contact link]
