Old Sauk Trail Pageant, Richton Park, Illinois circa 1923. The pageant/event was an attempt in the go-go 1920's to develop interest in the area. Something like a historical recreation, it never caught on, perhaps because of the Great Depression. Indians, probably Sauk or Fox, were shipped in for the event, perhaps from the reservation in Iowa.
