Very interesting house. Do you know any other history to the house? Where is it located and is it still standing?

Was this house in Arkansas, or perhaps TN, MO or KY? Please give us some history on your SMITH house and family background. My McLAIN / McCLAIN ggg aunt Christiana / Cristeny married a James SMITH b about 1830 KY and she was born abotu 1830 we are reasonably sure in TN along the KY border, but mar James SMITH about 1851 in Lawrence Co AR where her parents moved before 1850.

Thanks for locating the house for me. I guess I'm from a different PA/NY Smith line. Good Luck and Happy New Year. Quentin Cabell Smith

O.K.,THE HOUSE IN THIS PHOTO THAT WAS SUBMITED BY MYSELF IS LOCATED IN,STOCKPORT,COLUMBIA COUNTY,NEW YORK,AND IS STILL STANDING TODAY,AND FELL INTO DISREPAIR OVER A PERIOD OF TIME DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT WAS ABANDONED FOR A WHILE,AND THEN FINALLY RESTORED TO ITS FORMER GLORY BY ITS NEW OWNER,WHO RESTORED IT TO WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE BACK IN THE DAY IT WAS BUILT.
