Father & daughter
The photographers, A & G Taylor, had an office on Bank St., Carlisle from 1893
to 1903, dating the photo. Found in Scott/Ferguson album.
I hope someone can identify this man and his daughter. Agnes Ferguson married James Bristol Scott in Ontario Canada in 1893, but their only daughter (who would have been the right age for this photo) didn't travel to Scotland until she was married. Not only that, it doesn't look like her (we have some several photos of
her as a child of the same age). Agnes Ferguson was an only child.
Agnes Ferguson's father was Alexander Ferguson, from Penpont, Scotland. Siblings are unknown for him. Her mother was Elizabeth Hastings, from Dumfries, Scotland. She had one known brother, David Hastings.

Abraham Gruendyke
Abraham Gruendyke, born 23 Oct 1793 in New Jersey, died 31 August 1875 in New York. He was the husband of Margaret Petty Gruendyke.

Jacob "Jake" Gruendyke
Jacob "Jake" Gruendyke born 26 Jan 1825, died 18 April 1905. Jacob Gruendyke was born in New York and travelled to California where he bought a 1600 acre ranch 12 miles east of stockton. He eventually sold this ranch and bought Rancho Guejito which was situated near Escondido, CA. He was quit a businessman as he helped set up San Diego Water Works. He also founded the Bank of Southern California which was in San Diego. Family lore says that he also helped in the building of the Hotel Del Coronado. His ashes are in the family plot in Stockton, California with other family members.

Cousin Callie Cady
On the back is written: I'm sorry - I do not know where she is - (I've lost her.). Callie's mother was a Putman. Callie Cady.Bradbury was Uncle Lew's daughter who looks like her mother (( think)(a Putman). Uncle Lew was mother's brother and he was a big favorite with all of us. We sure did love him a lot because he was a fine man in every sense of the word. He was the oldest son in grandfather's family and had the family name of Lyman Ross Cady as his father our grandfather (mother's father). Father Beatte and Uncle Lew were great friends - somehow someway - I do not know where Callie lives. Stella
This photo of Callie Cady was included in a group with the following surnames: Beatte, Haas, Bradbury, and Putnam. After some research, I believe Callie is Clara O. Cady, daughter of Lewis R. Cady and Jennie Putnam Cady. Clara was b. July 1883 in Kansas. She m. William Bradbury. I can't find them after 1920 in McPherson Co., Kansas.
