Sam Haley house
The Sam Haley house is on the Isle of Shoals, 9 miles out of Portsmouth, NH, but is known as the oldest house in Maine. The New Hampshire/Maine border splits these nine islands. Sam Haley was a colorful character who lived on this island which was known as Haley's Island in the 1700's. I am Sam Haley's 6th Great Grand Neice.
