How much was the check for? I can't really see in this photo and I enjoy comparing prices with inflation taken into account.

Grandpa Thomas G. Doble in Los Angeles County, California circa 1950, receiving a Traveler's Check for something he invented. Grandpa Doble invented a tube that went into Televisions. He was in the T.V. Repair business back in the early 50's.
