Remembered as beautiful inside & out
A beauty queen, Special Olympics volunteer, & teacher at an elementary school, her life was taken from her in 1986. Randy remembers his girlfriend Lynnie and finds sharing in some ways therapeutic. Marsha remembers Lynn as her high school friend, and Cindy remembers working with Lynn at the Seaside Pharmacy soda fountain in 1968.

WW2 Moment captured on film
David shared this WW2 photo of his father and the B-17 Blue Dreams Crew. He only had his father's name, and over time 5 other men have been identified by 5 separate families. These strangers who became a band of brothers in WW2, unites their families even today.

Marie "Mary" (Zern) Minarovich was born on December 19th, 1899 in Pennsylvania to James Zern (1848 - 1924) and Rosanna Dick (1859 - 1928). Both of her parents were born in Pennsylvania. She had eight siblings: John; Mary Effie; Charles; James; Joseph; Rosana; Francis; and Edward Zern.
Marie Zern married Stefan Minarovich (1897 - 1970) and they had three children: Agnes, born 1924; Mary F, born 1926; and Joseph Francis Minarovich, born 1931.
Mary died on July 1st, 1987 at the age of 87 in Somerville, New Jersey.
Giuseppe "Joseph" Sessarego was born on February 8th, 1902 in Camogli, Genoa, Italy to unknown parents.
He immigrated to the United States via Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on July 17th, 1946. In October of 1946, Joseph petitioned for naturalization in the United States in the San Francisco District Court. He was not married at the time.
Joseph later married Marjorie and they had one daughter, Louise.
He died on August 1st, 1974 in San Francisco, California at the age of 72 and is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, California.
