This is my great grandfather. His wife was Eugenier Ellen Hice. they had 4 son's, and one daughter. My grandfather was the youngest, he was R.D. Bossier Jr. b. 1921 . The Parents of Robert Debrun Sr. were: Robert Guen Bossier born: 1853, also in Sabine Parish and, Martha Louise Hatcher born: 1874 in Sabine Parish.Robert Guen was the oldest son of: Sylvester Cesaire' Debrun Bossier born: 1819, and Margaret Ann McDonald born in 1820, in Sabine Parish Louisiana..

This is a grandson of the first Bossier to come to Louisiana from France in 1718. His parent's were Francois("Frans-wha")Bossier b.1734, and Rosayle Charlotte Barre',born: 1741. Francois Jr. married Catherine Pelagie Lambre' in 1780. They had 5 children one of whom became U.S.senator from 1833-1844: Pierre Evariste Jean Baptiste Bossier born 1797.

This is my husbands grand father. He was born in Texas we think, He did grow up there, around lubbock. He moved to Northern Arizona to do logging , he had been a blacksmith and lumberjack all his life. His son Thurman Merchant Jr. also did logging for over 40 years in Arizona, and is still living.
