Civil War Veteran
Photo of William C. Fitzgerald. Born Feb 18, 1837 near St. Joseph Missouri. In 1862 he enlisted into Company one hundred and third Illinois Infantry. Was a prisoner of war being held at Millen Junction Ga. and then to Florence S.C. Lost his leg due to exposure and was amputated by confererate surgeons.

Civil War Veteran
Photo of William C. Fitzgerald. Born Feb 18, 1837 near St. Joseph Missouri. In 1862 he enlisted into Company one hundred and third Illinois Infantry.
