Government Forces William to leave Wilna farm

William was the last one to move as he would not move until he received his payment from the government his farm. It was pretty lonely for Mother that fall.

We also had a sugar bush and my dad took great pride in his fancy maple syrup. One year during the depression the market was so bad that he sold it from door to door for $2 a gallon.
