This is Jack Samples (son of Ira and Irene Meehan Samples) in a school photo; school and year is unknown but it is probably in the Durham Oklahoma area in the late 1930's or late 1940's.
This is a photo of Jack Samples home on leave from the Navy; to the left of the photo is an unknown friend and on the right of the photo is his sister, Glenna Samples. Ira and Irene Meehan Samples are the parents of Jack and Glenna. Exact date is unknown, but is between 1951 and 1955.
This photo is of Glenna Samples, Pat Wheeler and Jack Samples. Glenna and Jack's parents are Ira and Irene Meehan Samples; Pat's parents are Clyde and Eva Samples Wheeler. My guess is that this photo was taken in the early 1940's however the plate has 1930 "something".
Jack Samples (son of Ira and Irene Meehan Samples) is standing in front of his childhood home at 507 West Ave. D, in Elk City Oklahoma. I do not know the year of this photo but I am guessing late 1960's.
This is photo of Jack Samples (son of Ira and Irene Meehan Samples) in July 1952. The Samples family, Ira, Irene, Duane, Jack and Glenna took a trip to California in 1952 after Glenna graduated high school. This is also during the time Jack was in the Navy.
This is a photo of Jack Samples (son of Ira and Irene Meehan Samples) on the left and Ronald Savage, Jr. on the right of the photo. I do not know where or when the photo was taken. I have placed in the military section, however Jack and Ronald appear to be very young and I am wondering if this photo is more of a school organization like the ROTC program.
This photo is of Jack Samples and his friend in the Navy, Gene Boyett. I do not know when or where this photo was taken, but Jack was in the Navy between 1951-1955 and served in California, Hawaii, Korea and Japan
Foy Ray "Jack" Samples is the son of Ira and Irene Meehan Samples; this photo is when he was about 6-9 months old. Jack was born in 1932 and died in 1990 in Oklahoma City.
This is a photo of some Samples and Wheelers; the only one I am sure of is Eva Samples Wheeler on the far left. I am sure the other ladies are the wifes of Charles Samples and Clarence Samples but I do not know who is who or the names of all the kids. I am not sure of the date of the photo, but it is most likely the late 1940's or early 1950's. If you know who the others in the photo are, please contact me.

Regina Barker What a sad story on these photos. Someone didn't know who the people were in the photo so they just threw them away. Contact the Museum in Stilwell or Adair Co. and see if they can help. They might even use them for their displays or research.

Regina Barker She would not be able to remember what street it was on; have your dad look at the photo and see if he recognizes the building in the photo.
