Unknown User Gregor McKinnon was a Sargeant in the Revolutionary War. He was a North Carolina Volunteer. He fought for the Crown. I don't know when he came to the United States. He was born 1749 on the Isle of Skye. He was on the muster rolls and was a Prisoner in 1781. He came to Canada in 1783 and settled in New Brunswick at Black River/Baie du Vin area. He died in 1837. He has descendents in New Brunswick and some moved to the U.S. I would love to learn more about him. He my ggggreatgrandfather.
