She married Hiram Howard Hanover Sr on May 27, 1915, and they were married until Hiram's death on May 19, 1969. She had children Elizabeth (Hanover) Corder, Edward Howard Hanover Sr, and Eleanor Glenn (Hanover) Nance. Edith Hanover died at age 81 years old on October 3, 1973 in Bryan, Brazos County, and was buried at Wheelock Cemetery in Wheelock, Robertson County.
