I do not know his birthdate or remember his death date. I remember being told he passed while sitting next to a tree deer hunting (one of his favorite pastimes) in the state of New York with 1 or more of his sons in approximately 1979 or 1980. I believe my grandmother said his actual cause of death was a heart attack. He was known to be severely diabetic. He was married to Emma “Mert” Kelchner. And had 5 or 6 children, 1 daughter, the rest sons. His last and i believe lifetime residence was on a small farm property he owned and the area is referred to as “Hetlerville” a small farming community outside the town limits of Mifflinville in Columbia Co.,PA.
