Jerry Don Brown was the biological son of Judge Dalphus Brown and Pamela Lee Holland. When his parents separated, his mother re married Robert T Swadley on January 18, 1973. He was then adopted by his stepfather, Robert Swadley and changed his name to Jerry Don Swadley. He had two half sisters. On March 15, 1991 he married Kimberly Deanna Wisenbaker (1972–2010) in Tarrant County, Texas and together they had children Aaron Bradley Roberts (Swadley), Christopher Thomas Swadley, Jimmy Dale Swadley, Jonathon David Swadley, Logan Ray Swadley, Kierston Nicole Bach (Swadley), and Lillian Unique Bach (Swadley). In May of 1992, after their first son Jimmy was born Jerry & Kim took the other boys and moved to Seattle, leaving Jimmy in the hospital in Texas. Jerry served in the US Navy and later lived in Seattle, WA. On April 8, 2009, Jerry Swadley passed away of an accidental overdose in Bellevue, King County, Washington.
