They had Martin Gottfried (1888-1955), Marie Jane (1889-1924), Samuel Carl (1890-1962), Berhta Ellen Clarice (1894-1976), Johann Clifford (1895-1959), George (1898-1918), Alice Minnie (1900-1990), Albert James (1902-1969), and Ethel Mary Nippe (1904-1990). Johann Gottfried Nippe passed away on September 3, 1928 in Toongabbie, Victoria.

He was born on August 17, 1811 in Kosel, Germany. He had a half brother, Johan George Nippe (1820-1875). Johann married a few times, He first married Eleonore Pauline Caroline Friederike Vogel (born 1816) on January 23, 1836 in Berlin. He then married Mathilde Juliane Emilie Taufeldt (1819-1887) on May 19, 1839 also in Berlin. They had a child together, Elisabeth Helene Nippe (1846-1922). He also married Maria Hoene Bernick (1842-1914) in 1859 in Hamilton, Australia and had multiple children including Johann Gottfried (1864-1928), Karl (1870-1953), and Amelia (1874-1942). Johann was also father to Maria Magdalena Nippe (1845-1875), Frederick Gotthilf Nippe (1847-1859), Ernstine Christene Nippe (1850-1910), Caroline Henriette Nippe (1852-1956), Emma Louise Nipp (1855-1943), and Marie Berhta Nippe (1860-1920) and are unsure which marriage these children came from.
