Joseph Tesoriere was born on January 10, 1912, in Italy to Salvatore Tesoriere and Christina Palma. He had siblings, including Christina Triola, Marian Bonura, Gary Tesoriere, and Frank Tesoriere. When Joseph was eight years old, his family immigrated to the United States and settled in New York.
During World War II, Joseph served in the United States military and enlisted on December 5, 1942, in Newark, New Jersey. He was stationed at Hg 4 Hq Det. Wash. D.C Oss (5Th) Inf and was eventually promoted to the rank of Cpl T 5. After three years of service, Joseph was honorably discharged on October 23, 1945.
After returning to civilian life, Joseph was known for his work as a skilled bricklayer in Queens.
Joseph married Jennie J Tesoriere on October 9, 1946, in Brooklyn and the couple had a son, Joseph F Tesoriere. The family resided in East Paterson, Bergen, New Jersey.
Joseph F Tesoriere of Ridgewood, Queens County, NY was born on June 2, 1926, and died at age 80 years old on August 1, 2006.
