Lewis William Fenton Jr. was born to Lewis William Fenton (1876-1941) and Anna (Baker) Fenton (1876-1941) and had fifteen siblings. They are: Boyda Harrison (1892-1963), Buyde (1896-1897), Mildred Susan (1898-1959), Leontine "Teeny" (1900-1974), Rufus Fay (1902-1980), Raymond A. (1903-1975), Lewis Blair (born/died in 1906), Edmond "Ted" Yeager (1907-1975), Novella Gladys (1910-1973), Mazie Cleora (1912-1990), Dorothy Lucile (born/died in 1914), Clayton Donald (1915-1984), Walter Clarence (1915-1985), Norman Richard (1917-1992), and Fred B. Fenton (1919-2003). A World War 2 Veteran, Lewis enlisted in the United States army on January 1 1943 and served until his discharge on January 1st 1945. He worked for Corning Inc for over 50 years. He married Laura Jean Stevens (1932-2000) on June 29th 1951 in Elmira, Chemung County, New York and they had seven daughters and four sons, including Matilda Jane (Fenton) Beatty who was born in 1953 and passed away in 2016.
