Her obituary says she was predeceased by an unnamed sister; May Elizabeth Asher, born 21 September 1919 in Geneseo, Henry County, Illinois. She died when she was a freshman (9th-10th grade) at Geneseo High School of pneumonia and is buried in Geneseo's North Cemetery. Marion attended Davenport and Geneseo, Henry County, Illinois, schools before moving to Geneseo with her mother, Flora, in 1946. On 14 December 1947, she married Dale Herbert "Red" Keag at Geneseo's First Presbyterian Church of which he was a life-long member. He was born 26 March 1926 on a farm near Geneseo to Andrew Johnston and Edna Pearl Lewis Keag. Marion was a unit secretary in Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois, at Lutheran Hospital (no longer exists) and Lutheran Hospital in Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona. Dale worked for International Harvester in East Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois, for 39 years. He retired from the maintenance dept. on 30 June 1982. (no longer exists). He died 21 April 2005 at Hillcrest Home, Geneseo, and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery. He served in the Navy Seabees from 1944-46, he spent many rewarding years working in law enforcement, part-time member of Geneseo Police and later with Henry County Sheriff's Dept. , Family was very important, and he enjoyed Harley riding, fishing, golfing, RVing, bowling team, and Shady Lakes Campground buddies. Marion and Dale had 3 children 1. Maureen Elizabeth "Mo" b. 18 September 1948 in Geneseo. She attended Geneseo High School. She married Richard McKay - they divorced in 1972. (no date). She worked for Davenport John Deere and lives in Colon2 a, Henry County, Illinois. She and Richard had 2 children: Paula Sue McKay b 26 March 1968 in Geneseo; Jason Edward McKay born 21 August 1971 in East Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois. 2. Steven Michael born 6 January 1952 in Geneseo, graduated from Geneseo High and served in the army for 5 years - 4 in Thailand. He married Mrs. Roxanne Hines Arnett 8 August 1981 in Geneseo. Steve graduated from Black Hawk Jr. College, Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois with a degree in electronics and is employed at R. C. Stoner Co., Davenport, Iowa and they live in Hampton, Rock Island County, Illinois. 3. Jeffery Lee born 10 August 1955 in Geneseo, graduated from Geneseo High. On 16 April 1977, Jeffery married Linda Sue Davidson at Geneseo. He is employed by H. C. Duke and Sons in East Moline. They had only 2 sons: Brian Andrew born 17 August 1977 in Geneseo, Timothy Aaron born 26 September 1980 in Geneseo. No other history.
