Marvin Murray Stoddert Sr. of Milton, Chittenden County, Vermont United States was born on February 4, 1927 in Burlington to Bill Stoddert and Emelia Stoddert. He had siblings Dorwin Stoddert, Marion Rivers, Iona Rivers, Walter Stoddert, Fern Norma (Stoddert) Driscoll, and Wanda Bodenhamer. Marvin was baptized in 1979 at Georgia Plain Baptist Church 1493 Stone Bridge Rd, in Georgia, Franklin County. He married Gloria Stoddert on February 4, 1949, and they were married until Gloria's death on August 24, 2012 at UVM Medical Center 111 Colchester Avenue, in Burlington, Chittenden County. He had a child Marvin Stoddert Jr.. Marvin Stoddert died at age 87 years old on May 20, 2014 at VT Respite House in Williston, Chittenden County, and was buried on May 23, 2014 at Georgia Plain Baptist Church 1493 Stone Bridge Rd, in Georgia, Franklin County.
