William Murray Stoddert of Burlington, Chittenden County, Vermont United States was born on January 9, 1886 in Mazeppa, Wabasha County, MN to Will Stoddert and Victoria Stoddert. William Stoddert had siblings Lil Stoddert, Maggie St. Louis, Eva Renaud, Lyle Stoddert, and Alice Stoddert. He married Mae Stoddert on August 24, 1910 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Burlington, Chittenden County, Vermont and they later divorced. He would also marry Emelia Stoddert on December 11, 1920 at Coate St. Paul in Peterborough, Peterborough County, ON Canada, and they were married until William's death on December 3, 1972. They had children Marion Rivers, Fern Norma (Stoddert) Driscoll, Marvin Stoddert Sr., Walter Stoddert, Wanda Bodenhamer, Iona Rivers, and Dorwin Stoddert.
