Paul Joseph Nochta Jr. was born on September 20, 1912 to parents Paul Joseph Nochta Sr (1888-1977) and Irma Harvey/Horvat (1894-1983). He was born in Blainesburg, Washington, Pennsylvania and had sisters Ellen (1911-1983) and Elizabeth Nochta (born 1918).
He spent his early life in East Pike Run, Washington, Pennsylvania, USA and on September 27, 1933 he married Dora Harris (born 1915) in Washington, Pennsylvania, USA. Together they had multiple children including Barry L Nochta (1942-2019), Jack, Irma, William, and Richard Nochta.
Paul served in the United States Army from March 22, 1945 until December 16, 1945.
